Pattern is written for DK yarn but has notes on using other yarn thicknesses.
Measures - a DK flag is approx. 18cm at widest point and 18cm deep
Yarn - great for leftovers. DK flags use approx 11g, 4ply use approx 5g
Needles - 4mm for DK or 3.25mm for 4ply (5mm for aran and 6.5mm for chunky!)
you will also need a wool needle.
Techniques - cast on; work flat - back and forth; knit; decrease by knitting 2 together (K2tog); yarn overs (YO), fasten off.
