This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from thewoollybrew.co.uk (the “Site”).

Personal information we collect

Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

newsletter and general correspondence
As a small business the best way for us to keep in touch with our customers is through email marketing - a newsletter.  This newsletter is usually sent weekly but could sometimes be more frequent.  It will contain information on what is in the shop, events and workshops in the shop and sometimes details of events happening in the local area or things relevant to knitters and crocheters.

This newsletter service is provided by Seguno. Your details are stored by Seguno.  You can read their privacy policy here. 

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter list at anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter.

If we've chatted through email, we will obviously have copy of the email conversation.  This is kept until the conversation is concluded, then it is deleted.  Your email address may still be available to us through our email system but it can be deleted if you request it.  It will only be used again if you require further information from us about the same or some related topic.  If we need to pass on your email to someone else - perhaps to get a direct answer to a product or pattern query - we will only do so with your consent.

Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
