This lace cowl is knitted back and forth. Buttons are added at the end to turn it into a loop. The beginner friendly lace pattern is written and charted. This single loop cowl is designed for DK yarn, but you can easily substitute another yarn or change the size of the loop.

Measures - approx. 32cm tall and 30cm wide laid flat.
Yarn - Any DK yarn, approx 155m of DK yarn
Needles - 4mm, you can use straight needles or circular.
you will also need 6 buttons (15-20mm) and a wool needle. We used a patterned shell button.
Techniques - cast on; work back and forth; knit; purl; yarn over; decreasing (K2tog, SSK and sl2, k1, p2sso); cast off. Abbreviations are explained in the pattern.
