This hat is knitted in the round. The pattern includes instructions for the three hats. You can mix and match styles too - rib and slouchy, no rib and closer fitting.

Measures - fits variety of heads - small to large (up to 23cm head).
Yarn - 1 ball of Rico Superfine Alpaca or 2 balls of Rowan Alpaca Classic.
Needle size - circular 6mm x 40cm with Rico Alpaca Superfine or 5mm x 40cm for Rowan Alpaca Classic. Click for our circular needle selection.
You will also need a wool needle. Pom Pom optional! Or is it pompom?
Techniques - cast on loosely; work in the round; knit; purl; knit 2 together (K2tog); fasten off stitches.
For our shop hats we used:-
For the cream hat shade 001 of Rico Luxury Alpaca Superfine. This hat features a ribbed brim and is a closer fitting beanie style. We added a pom pom in colour 001.
The charcoal grey hat (colour now discontinued, but try shade 004 of Rico Luxury Alpaca Superfine instead) has no rib and a slouchy shape. We added a bright pop of orange with a pom pom in colour 014
The pink hat is knitted using 2 strands of Rowan Alpaca Classic in shade 129 and has a baby pink (colour 019) pom pom.
