This year we're taking part in Yarnstravaganza, an initiative organised by the UK Hand Knitting Association (you may recognise the name from their patterns).
It's a time to celebrate yarn shops and their customers.
Lots of shops have different things planned from prize draws, entertainment, goody bags, free patterns etc. You can see all the other yarn shops taking part on the UKHKA website.
One of the things we have planned is a prize draw. For every purchase you make in the Pittenweem shop or online between 13th and the 24th September you get one entry into the draw and a chance to win these prizes. 👇
The Crochet Bag. Inspired by my current crochet obsession this Mini Ball Bag includes a Crochet Answer book, a set of Pony Easy Grip crochet hooks and some colourful Ricorumi Spin Spin DK.
The Birthday Bag.
This Mini Ball Bag contains a hank of our Love Your Wallpaper 10th birthday yarn (hand dyed by My Mama Knits and inspired by our wallpaper) a set of Windmill Skies stitch markers (hand made by Fripperies & Biblelots and inspired by St Monans Windmill Instagram photos) AND a felted tea cup (designed and handmade from Sue aka Woollen Wave).
The Kit Bag - A Colour Block Collection kit in your choice of colour and a 4mm Basix circular needle to help you make it. Packaged in a Mini Ball Bag project bag. Our Colour Block Collection kit contains 4 balls of Rowan Alpaca Soft DK and two patterns, so you can choose to knit a shawl or a scarf.

The prize draw small print T&Cs
By purchase we mean each time you check out either in the Pittenweem shop or online.
Free pattern downloads don't count towards an entry.
You can of course decline to enter. Either at the till in the Pittenweem shop or in the comments section when you check out your online order.
You, preferably, need an email address to enter and you consent to your email address being added to our weekly newsletter list (if you're not already on it). If you don't want to receive our weekly newsletter then you can unsubscribed at anytime. It is the best way for our small business to let you know what we're up to so please consider staying on it.
You can't choose which prize you win.
The draw will take place on Monday 26th September and winners will be contacted by email or telephone by Wednesday 28th September.
If you don't claim your prize by 3rd October then we will draw again.
We can only post to UK addresses.
