Aal Ower Toorie is the official 2025 Shetland Wool Week knitting pattern.
Exclusively designed by the Shetland Guild of Spinners, Knitters, Weavers and Dyers as the Shetland Wool Week Patrons for 2025.
Knit the hat in any of the suggested colour variations, or come up with your own colour scheme.
Two versions use 8 shades, one version is shown in 5 shades.
The size of the hat is determined by needle size. You'll be knitting in the round so choose a needle type that you prefer to use to knit a small circumference.
- Small, 47.5cm head, 2.25mm and 2.75mm needles
- Medium, 52cm head, 2.5mm and 3mm needles
- Large, 56cm head, 2.75mm and 3.25mm needles
