Annfield Farm Mohair DK

From a local Fife farm a unique blend of mohair and Shetland wool.

Annfield Farm is a family run angora goat farm near Dunfermline in Fife, Scotland. Andrew and Laury-Anne raise a flock of no-kill goats and blend their mohair fleece with the fleece from local Shetland sheep. The resulting yarn is soft and drapey with an amazing lustre and a slight halo.

Mohair DK is not just a local yarn from a small producer but it's a unique blend of fibre too. It's not like any mohair you've felt before and it's definitely not like any Shetland wool either.

The fleeces are blended and spun in Yorkshire and hand dyed using British dyes by Laury-Anne at the farm.
