Appledore Lace

Shade:

From John Arbon, Appledore Lace is a woolly yarn in a range of complex heathered  shades. Perfect for lightweight items it's ideal for delicate lace patterns as it blocks beautifully.

Appledore Lace is a heavy laceweight and the yarn can be worked at a tight or looser gauge as the halo of the fibres will bloom to fill the gaps between stitches.

All the fibre in Appledore Lace is sourced from West Country sheep - Devon Closewool, a moorland breed with rustic and grippy fibre; lustrous Romney; and bouncy Exmoor Blueface. The resulting yarn is full of bounce and lustre.

It comes in 50g hanks and a huge range of shades.
