Iolair Yarn

As a geologist/geochemist by training, Solveigh Lass-Evans spent a lot of time out and about in Scotland’s magnificent landscapes.

Combing these skills and inspiration she started Iolair (pronounced Ee-oh-lair) Yarns in 2019. With a colour palette reflecting the coastal and heather colours of Scotland, she dyes her yarn in small batches; taking care to ensure her carefully sourced luxurious yarns keep their lustre.
