From a local Fife farm a local blend of Shetland wool.

Annfield Farm is a family run angora goat farm near Dunfermline in Fife, Scotland. Andrew and Laury-Anne raise a flock of no-kill goats and blend their mohair fleece with the fleece from local Shetland sheep.

In their quest for no wastage they’ve taken any excess Shetland fleece and had it spun into a pure Shetland 4ply.

This is a robust 4ply, thicker than Spindrift. You could even knit it as a sportweight yarn. It is relatively soft compared to other pure wools and it’ll bloom and soften even more in your finished project.

The fleeces are blended and spun in Yorkshire and hand dyed using British dyes by Laury-Anne at the farm.
