The Croft DK
New in Autumn/Winter 2020 a DK yarn from West Yorkshire Spinners, 100% British wool ideal for knit and crochet projects.
Inspired by the colourful landscape of the Shetland Islands, The Croft DK has the warmth and robustness of Shetland wool combined with softness and it's machine washable too.
We've got the 6 tweedy shades. It's a printed effect, so when knitted it makes a smooth fabric. And the tweedy effect hides uneven stitches. You've maybe seen Elspeth, our shop cardigan knitted in the thicker The Croft Aran? It's the same effect as that.
Obviously there's also a new DK knitting pattern book featuring designs by Sarah Hatton and Rosee Woodland. Although shown in The Croft DK yarn, these designs will work with other DK yarns too.
A spiral bound book (so it lies flat) with large photos and charts - it's easy to read and use.
It has a range of patterns - colourwork, cables, jumpers, cardigans, ladies and gents. The patterns span a range of skill levels too.

There is also a free Knitting by Sarah Hatton for an edge-to-edge cardigan!
The front edging is worked as you go (so no picking up stitches) and the shoulders are shaped with short rows (so no lumpy steps). The belt is optional!
